Consider requesting a room on a lower floor for easier access with young children and better control over room temperature during summer stays.

Kiah greeted us warmly upon arrival, making check-in smooth. She led us to our room and ensured everything worked perfectly. Mario at the front desk provided exceptional service, always eager to assist us. The food quality here absolutely blew us away. a staggering variety for a village pub. Such a hidden gem. the heating issues need addressing, especially in warmer months. In July, our room was too hot, impacting our children's sleep. Lack of a fridge in the family room made storing milk for our toddler tricky. The family room itself felt cramped. The layout wasn't as we expected. Having to climb in and out of beds was inconvenient. we encountered noise issues from outside which kept the kids awake, not ideal for young families. I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel, but the amenities could use updates for better comfort, especially for families. Despite these setbacks, the staff's friendliness and food quality made our stay worthwhile. With a little more attention to family accommodations, this place could truly shine.

Spacious Deluxe Double Rooms provide ample room for comfort. The quiet atmosphere at night allows for a decent sleep, especially after a long journey.
The shower had poor water pressure, making it difficult for a proper rinse. The duvet barely reached the edge of the bed, leading to an uncomfortable night, although it was fixed when mentioned. The bathrooms could use some modern upgrades, which the owner recognizes, though they remain clean. Heating can be an issue. during my stay, the room was uncomfortably warm in July, making it hard to sleep with young kids, and there was no fridge to keep milk fresh, resulting in spoilage. The family room felt cramped and not fully equipped for a family, and access to necessary resources outside reception hours was a concern after my child had an injury, needing a drive into town to sort it out. it functions but could definitely improve on comfort and facilities.

Awesome service and cozy vibes
Had a fab time here! Staff went above and beyond when we arrived late, even cooked for us! The room was super comfy and fresh. Loved hanging out in the bar area. Only thing, the Wi-Fi could be spotty at times, but didn't ruin the stay.

The room I stayed in was super cozy, and I loved enjoying a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant. The hotel had nice relaxation spots, like the garden area and a lounge with a great view. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't take away from my overall experience! 😊
